Ben Samuels
Ben Samuels studied theatre and cultural history at Brown University (USA), and trained at the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA), where he was supported by a Jacob K. Javits Fellowship for Theatre Arts. He wrote and performs in Limbik's first show The Harbour, and Ghost Town, the company's second production (currently in-development). Directing work includes: Assistant Director to Andrew Dawson for Redcape's award-winning The Idiot Colony (Fringe First, Total Theatre Award 2008); and Director of The Junior Wife (Kudu Arts), an adaptation of short story by the Canadian-Somali writer Wilaal. He will be composing music and directing movement for Ireland's Barnstorm Theatre in their upcoming production of Hansel and Gretel, devised in collaboration with Limbik. Other devising work includes: performer and co-creator for The Gravity Project (Counterweight), on the science and poetry of the force of gravity, Asleep in Houses (Company 333), and Sheltered (Hats and Glasses), an original work of clown theatre. He was a founding member the London Science Museum's Punk Science Project, bringing together science and stand-up comedy. Ben featured as an Actor-Musician in Barnstorm Theatre's acclaimed production of Mike Kenny's Boy With a Suitcase (Ireland national tour) and in Paul Boyd's adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, directed by Karl Wallace (The Castle, Wellingborough). He played Maajid Nawaz in Amnesty International's short film Oxygen, written and directed by Lisle Turner. Other television work includes Assistant Producer for Channel 4's short film series Rights Universal, produced by Amnesty International and Native Voice Films. An accomplished mandolinist, Ben plays regularly with the UK's hardest working klezmer-balkan-gypsy band, She'koyokh. |

Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson trained at LISPA and has an MA in English from Edinburgh University. A founding member of Limbik, she created the role of Sally in The Harbour and played Janeen in The Gravity Project for Counterweight Theatre. She is an associate artist with London-based Ladder to the Moon, who make interactive theatre for older people. For Fittings MMA, she co-wrote the Buddy Bolden Experience, a co-production with Manchester's Royal Exchange and played Mary in the original cast of the MEN award-winning Irish Giant at the Contact Theatre. She has worked in the worlds of Young People's theatre and Integrated theatre for companies including: National Trust Theatre; Interplay Theatre (Leeds); Blue Eyed Soul (Shropshire); and Sign Dance Collective. Sarah is part of the core acting company of the acclaimed Irish children’s theatre company, Barnstorm. |

Will Pinchin
Will Pinchin graduated from the London International School of Performing Arts, and holds a B.F.A in Acting from Ithaca College. Will is the Artistic Director of Grafted Cede Theatre, whose first show Nobody's Home, had critical success in this years Brighton Fringe Festival. His devising credits include: Nobody's Home (Grafted Cede Theatre), Ghost Town (Limbik Theatre), The Harbour (Limbik Theatre), Lost in the Woods (Barnstorm Theatre), Hansel and Gretel (Barnstorm Theatre), Jukai (Theatre Témoin), The Gravity Project (Counterweight Theatre), That's The Way to Do It (Swazzled Theatre), Small Corners (Swazzled Theatre), Zephrus Dreams (Zephrus Dreams Theatre Co.), and Mr. Whippendale (Wayward Spaniel). He has worked as movement director/choreographer with Black Ram Theatre Company in their UK tour of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, as well as teaching workshops in physical approaches to dramatic creation throughout the UK, USA, Ireland and Spain. |
